How do I get in touch with IMAGEZOO?

Simply go to the contact page for our phone number, address and email.

What does "royalty-free" mean?

Royalty-free means the images you purchase are yours to use whenever you want, for as many projects as you want. No usage fees or additional charges are applied. This non-exclusive license allows you to use the images on the permitted number of workstations (see below).

You may not use IMAGEZOO images on any product where the image itself becomes the primary aspect of the product for resale (for instance, if an image is used on a coffee cup to sell that coffee cup, on a T-shirt to sell that T-shirt, etc.) If you need to use an IMAGEZOO image on more than the permitted number of workstations, or for other purposes, you must contact us for more information. IMAGEZOO images are licensed for use on ten (10) workstations.

How does your licensing work?

Please read our license agreement for details on product licenses. If you have questions, email or contact IMAGEZOO directly.

We don't sell, share or divulge any of your personal information (including your email address) with other companies. For a complete overview of how we protect your information, read our Privacy Policy.

How do I remove my name from the IMAGEZOO email promotions list?

If you decide you no longer want to be on our email list, you can:

• Click the reply button on any email from us and type 'Remove' in the subject line.
• Email support@imagezoo.com (be sure to include the email address you wish to have removed in the body of the email).
• Contact IMAGEZOO directly and ask to be removed from our list.

Whatever method you choose, we'll remove you from the list immediately.

How do I remove my name from the IMAGEZOO "snail" mail list?

If you'd like to stop receiving promotional mail from IMAGEZOO, please email us at sales@imagezoo.com (or call us at 1-877-27-IMAGE). Simply request that your name be removed from the promotional mail list, and include your mailing address exactly as it appears on your mailing label.

Which browsers are compatible with this site?

Any browser that supports HTML 4 or higher and allows cookies such as:

• Mozilla 1.0
• Microsoft® Internet Explorer version 4.5 and above
• Opera
• Konqueror
• America Online

Note for America Online users on Macintosh® computers: If you're using AOL version 3, Netscape Navigator version 3, or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3, you won't be able to reliably access the secure areas of our site. Please upgrade to AOL version 4 or above.

If you're experiencing difficulties accessing certain areas, your computer may not be accepting cookies, or your system may be behind a corporate firewall, which can make accessing secure servers difficult.

Does my browser need to accept cookies?

Yes. The imagezoo.com web site requires a browser with the “accept cookies” setting enabled.

Do I need to be able to make a secure connection to your site?

You may search for products without a secure connection.  However, most of the pages on the IMAGEZOO site require a secure connection.

What if I am behind a firewall?

The site will still work for you in most cases. In order to place orders on this website however, you will need to make a secure connection to the website. In order to do this, your firewall must permit traffic on port 443. If you are uncertain what this means, consult the documentation for your firewall, or contact your system administrator.

I can't get an image to download, what do I do?

If you're having trouble downloading an image, read our downloading tips. If you continue to have problems, contact us for assistance.

Why can't I find the images I'm searching for?

Read our search tips for information on how to quickly find the images you need. If you prefer, call us and we’ll walk you through.

Can I search without being registered?

Yes. You can search and download free images for comp purposes without registering on our site.

How do I download images for a comp?

Macintosh Users — Click on the image and hold

Windows Users — Right click on the image and hold. Save the file using the pop-up menu.

How do I get detailed information about an image?

To discover more about an image, simply click on the thumbnail image and you’ll be taken to a detailed viewing page. Or, click the image number link found beneath the thumbnail on the Search Results page or in your Lightbox. The detail viewing page provides complete information about an image, including file sizes.

Purchasing images

Do I need to register to purchase? How do I register?

Yes, you must fully register (providing your mailing and billing profiles). If you are not fully registered, you will automatically be prompted in order to complete your purchase.

Is it safe to use my credit card on this site?

We use the latest encryption technology to protect your information while in transit. You can read about security measures in our Privacy Policy.

How do I determine image prices?

To calculate the price for any image, simply click on the thumbnail to go to the image detail page where all the pricing options for the image are displayed.

How do I get terms with IMAGEZOO so that I can be billed regularly?

Please contact us directly to arrange payment terms.

What if my company is tax exempt?

If you are a Canadian company with tax exempt status, you will need to contact us directly in order to arrange payment without taxation. Please be prepared to fax supporting documentation that demonstrates your tax exempt status.

Downloading images

How can I download an image I've previously purchased?

To download images from a previous purchase, click on 'My IMAGEZOO' in the navigation bar and select 'previous purchases' to access the Previous Purchases list. Images can be re-downloaded indefinitely and free of charge.

How can I print out a past sales order?

Click on 'my imagezoo' in the top navigation bar Then click the sales order number of the previous order you'd like to print. When the order pops up, use your browser's 'Print' icon to print out the screen.

How do I save an image to my computer?

How long does it take to download an image?

That depends on the speed of your connection to the Internet. The table below shows some common data transfer rates and the amount of time it will take to transfer typical image sizes from this site.

Ordering Collections

Can I buy Collections online?

Yes. Simply browse through our collections of royalty-free images. When you see a collection that interests you, click on the “collection” bar to view more details and sample the images from the collection. To add a collection to your order, click 'Add to Cart'. Please note that you cannot add a collection to your Lightbox.

When should I buy a Collection  vs. a single image?

If you think you'll use more than two or three high-resolution images from a collection, the collections are a great value

How can I preview an entire Collection?

Preview any collection by clicking on its collection bar on the collections page. This will launch a page that enables you to view thumbnails of all the images contained on the collection.

What is your return policy?

Using digital images

Images from IMAGEZOO are intended to be as versatile as possible. We simply believe it’s best that our customers determine exactly how images are converted to CMYK. When an RGB image is converted to CMYK, several parameters must be considered, including paper stock, four-color film output device, layout software programs used, types of inks used and special effects, etc. which, we feel, are decisions best left to the designer.

How large can I print your digital images?

Generally, our images can be enlarged to 125% of their original image size without diminishing their high quality. Since it's critical that you determine the resolution necessary for the output device, we recommend that you consult your printer or service bureau to find out the specific capabilities of the device to be used. In addition, we’re always happy if you’d like to contact us for more details.

How do I achieve optimal results producing four-color?

In order to create a quality four-color separation, there are several steps you'll need to take, including determining the image resolution, calibrating your system, selecting the right service bureau and checking your files. It's always a good idea to discuss the details of your publication with a representative at your commercial printer before you create the final film output. It's also a good idea to produce a high-end color print like Iris to make sure you are happy with the color before going to film.
