Rob Colvin's passion for form, design and ideas is vividly portrayed in his dynamic paintings. Rob creates beautiful images which convey complex concepts with simple visual solutions. Through the use of common objects in an uncommon way he challenges viewers to look carefully to see the idea behind the picture. His work has been published internationally in a wide variety of media. During his successful illustration career, Rob has created original work for hundreds of clients including IBM, Newsweek, AT&T, and Pepsi. He has been honored by professional organizations such as the New York Art Directors Club, Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators, and many others. He has participated in numerous local and national juried shows receiving multiple awards in the process. He currently sells his fine art paintings at several galleries throughout the West Rob, a graduate of Utah State University, makes his home in northern Utah.
