Joseph Cali hails from Brooklyn, New York but is now a resident of Tokyo, Japan. Joseph has a degree in fine art painting from the Rhode Island School of Design. His work in Japan ranges from illustration in a number of different styles for clients such as FujiFilm, Esquire Japan, ANA, and Cathy Pacific to graphic design for Panasonic, NTT and United Nations University. He is also the author and illustrator of "The New Zen Garden" and co-author or the recently released "Create Your Own Japanese Garden."
