James Peters says he came to be a graphic designer and illustrator purely by accident. A former employer discovered that James had an aptitude for drawing and painting and asked him to design page layouts and illustrations for the company's in-house magazine. He realized how much he loved it and it wasn't before long that James quit his job and decided to pursue his true calling. He established Terrapin Graphics and has been designing and illustrating for several years. His work has been featured in a number of books about graphic design. James was born in Calcutta, India and has lived in Canada since he was sixteen years old.
