B.F. Secuya studied commercial art at the University of Hawaii. He developed his current illustrative style while working as a freelance illustrator for the past seven years. He now works for a reputable illustration studio in Northern California, and spends his free time designing and selling his own line of Pacific-Island themed merchandise through his company, Maoli Design.
